Hello all,
My first post on this forum.
I am the proud owner of an '87 blue metallic notchback with just under 60k on the duke. Was looking for a spare vehicle when I spotted this one and took the plunge. My wife, before we met, had owned two Fiero's. One was totaled. Not her fault. So she was feeling a bit nostalgic and teaching me about them. Even though I am a mechanic, I couldnt figure out how to open the gas door. Of course I didnt read the owners manual at that point yet, but she showed me the basics. I was somewhat skeptical about buying it due to it's small size and me being a six footer. But amazingly it is spacious inside and I actually have to put the seat forward to reach the pedals comfortably. It is a blast to drive! Everything works. The original paint is nearly flawless. The interior needs some attention. Seats, headliner and some trim peices but overall I love it. It was well taken care of. Always a Northwest car so no rust anywhere that I can find. It's running on Toyo 17's which just fills the wheel wells nicely. It does have a red msd ignition pack which doesnt look stock. A little underpowered with the 2.5 but it certainly beats the gas mileage of my supercharged Ford Explorer.
Anyway, long post. Just wanted to say hello to fellow Fiero owners. I can see myself having this for many years to come.
I will post some pics. The ones I have are to big and its dark out right now.
