• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello, my name is Joe. I just bought a 98 Pontiac Firebird T-Top today. Fully stock, 3.8L v6, 5 spd. I am located near Houston, TX. Just wanted to introduce myself, bought the car and looks like it is going to be a project car now. It's overheating at idle only and smoking out exhaust at idle. Doesnt overheat or smoke while driving or shifting gears or anything, just idle. Not sure if its headgaskets or valves or what yet. Any ideas would be great.
