If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello All,

I've always been a Pontiac fan, more specifically T/A's and GTO's. I almost bought a '79 T/A for my first car but it was sold before I was able to call the guy. I later bought a 1985 Monte Carlo SS, which I still have today. I have made some changes over the years, most notably upgrading to a 5.7L, converting to a 5-speed and adding a Pontiac styling cue I've always loved with a functional shaker hood:

I've recently gotten the bug to get a hold of my dream car - an orbit orange 4-speed ram air Judge. I could never afford the real thing, so settling for a GTO/Judge tribute is what I'm after. I've been keeping an eye open and had a look at a project car semi-locally, but I believe he was asking too much for what it was and think I'd rather get something more complete. Had my hand on the real thing and was supposed to have a look this weekend (his choice as I could have gone any time), but it's looking like the owner is going back on his word and not going to hold the car until I get there. Extremely disappointed in that one to say the least...

I have a soft spot for '68-72 A-bodies due to the fact I grew up sliding around in the back seat of my father's '70 Rallye 350. It is one of 160 post car Rallye's and is also a Cutlass S as well as a Canadian model with a bench seat & 4-speed so it's a pretty rare machine. It was a daily driver into the late 80's so it is in rough shape body wise so he bought a hardtop project to restore the car with. Unfortunately it will end up being a Rallye clone using real Rallye parts, but I'm determined to not let the original car go to the crusher.

I'll probably be doing more reading rather than posting, but I'm sure I will have some questions as well :)

welcome, looks like a really clean car
