• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello everyone! I have been the caretaker for a 1966 Pontiac Catalina Station Wagon for many years. My grandfather purchased this car new for use in the family funeral home in March of 1966 and saw a lot of action during its working years. Unfortunately, this castle of steel on wheels has been sitting idle for a long time and I would like to get her back where she belongs...on the road again!!!

While I do know the difference between a hammer and a socket wrench, I have absolutely no clue as to where to start the revitalization process.

Thank you all very much for your input and advice.

Go to some local car shows. You will find people there who know how or know the people who do. Just one note: It is easy to stick a large engine in the car. The hard part is keeping them stock.

Welcome aboard... Thank you for signing up! Good luck with your project...
