Hello all, new here.
Have owned a 98, 2001 and now just bought a 2004 Sunfire.
2.2 Ecotech, 5 speed. 102k miles.
Seems like a pretty solid car, front end, and suspension is still tight. Motor is
super quiet. The folks I got it from seemed to take pretty good care of it.
Have always liked the looks of the sunfire's. The manual tranny versions
seem to be a little more peppy than the auto. Just good economical transportation. I have nearly an hour commute, I will be installing a Sony
radio on tuesday. I put one of these in a 2001 Dodge stratus I had. Very good for the money. Not too much power for factory speakers.

Tried to apply tint film to 98 I had, the rear window was a bear even when trying strips, wound up pulling it off before it set up, Will be taking this one to a professional.
Found this forum when I was shopping for this car. Hoping to find a good
diagnostic scanner to have on hand. Ordered one from flea bay that had some good reviews. Judging by the first two sunfire's I owned, don't expect to have too much trouble with this one. Nice to have a forum to discuss it when it comes up though.
