If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Very nice! I don't think I've ever seen one of those.. Welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up! :)

Thanks Sal.

With only 2000 made, I doubt you'll see many of these in Florida. I have seen about 4 here in Ga. The hood is not stock. The stock hood has twin heat extractors like on the '01-'03 Grand Prix Special Editions. Key to indentifying one is the flags on the side, the twin heat extractors and the rear spoiler with "Daytona 500" below the trunk.

I'm also on the Caddy forums with a 1997 Polo Green STS.

Yeah, I figured it would be hard to find down here in South Florida.. :p How quick is that thing? Faster than your STS? The 97 STS was pretty quick.. 0-60 in the mid 6s.. But I know those GTPs are quick as well. And easy to modify..

I haven't had the time to get both cars out to the drag strip yet. The last time the GTP went it ran a 14.4 in the 1/4 mile. It still needs to be tuned right and it can run mid 13's... The GTP will own the STS in the 1/4" but in a road race 100MPH + I'm willing to bet the STS could beat the GTP... The GTP sports a DHP Modifed PCM, S&S Headers, smaller SC pulley (ZZP 3.3) Magnaflow hi -flow cat, Flowmasters, 180 T-stat, CAI with K&N, and one heat ranger colder Autolite spark plugs. HP figures for the GTP are around 280-290. But the GTP is a tad lighter than the Caddy.

I remember when that model first came out. It surprised a LOT of people. it was basically a sleeper.. Nobody thought it was that quick. Sort of like the Buick Regal GS.. The GTP is one of the cars I wanted to own but never got to.. If I were only wealthy. :p

Mid 13s would be pretty impressive.. And yes, that Northstar is very powerful up top..
