New Member Snow Tire question

Just joined today and need to put new rubber on my friends 2008 torrent, got 48k out of the original Firestone tires, anyone ever put snowtires on these or just stick with the originals?

Dedicated snow tires work very well in winter. Their drawback is they are not designed to be used above 40 degrees. They can be used, but will wear faster. You should have a set of "normal" tires for the summer.

Depends on what part of the country you live in. If you get very little snow you probably can get away with the original all season tires. I'm in the North East and use snow tires starting in December thru March.
