• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I am a new member. I have owned 2 STE's. My previous STE had 289,000 miles on it when I gave it to a young couple that needed some reliable transportation. I bought the car when I was stationed in Germany. I now live in San Antonio, TX and since the car's air conditioning was not working, I decided to just give it away. (I actually tried driving the car without AC for the first summer that I lived in TX, but quickly realized that was not smart for an older fella.

I currently have a 1986 Pontiac 6000 STE that is accident free and smoke free. I am the 2nd owner. The first owner was a Regional GM Service Manager who bought the car for his wife a few years before he retired from GM. Obviously, this car was properly maintained. There is a great history with this car. I am considering parting with this great car, and when I finally decide to part with it, I will place an ad in the Classified section.

In the mean time, I would like to correspond with others who have owned and enjoyed an STE.
