Long time lover of the most awesome car ever the Pontiac GTO. But through time have evolved into a lover of all Pontiac's with the exception of that car they call a GTO. John D. would be hunting you down whoever brought that into fruition. Thank you John Delorean. What a man of supreme car vision you were. Peace be with you.
Currently own these Pontiac's and the order in which I bought them.

70 Catalina Convertible (exact same car used in the movie "Something Wild"
67 GTO Convertible
65 Catalina Sedan 4 Door
76 Grand Prix SJ (455)
All have original power plants and transmissions. Both GTO's are 4 speeds. The post model has been restored along with extensive modifications to original heads and addition of Elderbrock manifold and carb. Car is candy apple red and all I can say is this car with these modified heads and cam makes me shake my head every time I drive her. Incredibly fast. I would like to add fuel injection as the kits seem to get easier to install and more economical. Would like to do this with all my Pontiac's. This car will never be sold by me as its going to my youngest son Ben who spent many hours at my side restoring this car when he was in middle school. The car is his.
The Catalina convertible was the car used in the production of the film "Something Wild" 1986 with Melanie Griffin and Jeff Daniels. Cool car to have as most of the big Pontiac's convertibles are fun and powerful with the 4 barrel 400. My little brother said if I ever sold this car he wanted the seat that Melanie sat on. LOL
The GTO convertible is being torn down and getting ready for paint and suspension upgrades. Going to remove 400 motor to clean up engine bay and run new wires, hoses, etc. Going back with a black cherry color.
Recently purchased the 66 Catalina 4 door. Very strong 2 barrel 400 motor. Car is clean and needs a lot work but no rust or large dents to repair. Will replace exhaust and suspension parts along with any items appearing to be worn and needing replaced. Cant wait to drive this car around. Going back with a white exterior with red pinstripe and red interior.
The Grand Prix was also a recent purchase being bought 3 weeks after the Catalina. This car is awesome and incredibly quiet and drives nearly like new. Will do shocks but front end is tight. Going to paint this one a dark rich red color much like the Honda Accords you see and keep the original gold interior. All power on this car to include working cruise control. Clock doesn't work is all in the exterior with exception of updating covering of the original seats. The interior is original and not going to do much here with exception of the seats and get the clock working.
Just joined so thanks for having me. Looking forward to getting to know the Pontiac community and sharing experiences and ways to do things to these cars. Knowledge is invaluable and its great we share that with each other. Also will be in the market for some parts that aren't sold anywhere.
