• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Just joined the forum. No Pontiac in the barn just yet but maybe soon.
Test drove a 97 red Firebird convertible yesterday. A little chilly here in central Illinois but we dropped the top and went for a ride. It has 59K miles is a 3.8 auto with gray leather that has a couple seams loose on the rear seat. New tires, battery, window motors installed and a new top in the box comes with it. Overall condition is good it was covered outside for a while and has a couple rope burns on the spoiler and rear bumper. I'm looking for an open air toy car to add to our collection and replace the motorcycle I plan to sell in the spring. Just have to decide what I like more red Pontiac's or green bills. What do you all think?

it looks like a nice car but cannt tell you much else about it from those pictures, have it checked by a mechanic before buying if possible, good luck with your search

Did it

Well I just pulled the trigger on the Firebird so I'm once again a Pontiac owner. It's 20 miles from my home and the owner is going to deliver it when I find a spot in my shop. Now comes the fun of deciding what to do first. I have a nephew that's a wiz with a paint gun so the paint will probably get some attention first. I'll keep you posted and will be asking for advice. Here's another shot or two.

That's my wife of 40 yeas and she likes the car and was cold too. When we test rode our bike 7 years ago it was spitting snow. Hope we have as much fun with the bird. Looking forward to warm weather rides.
