New Owner - Back pain?

I just got my 2008 torrent two weeks ago. Any time I drive it, I get pain in my lower back and I feel like I could slide when I turn, like the seat doesn't have enough bucket to hold me in. I'm by no means a lead foot and I'm not flying around curves. Just normal driving. My seat doesn't have lumbar support. I ordered a thin lumbar pillow on Amazon because the one I found at O'Reilly's was way too fat and I felt like I was sitting a mile from the back of the seat. Has anyone else had this much trouble? I've never had this much trouble getting used to a new car. My last was a Chrysler PT Cruiser that I had for 6 years.

Your seats have none of the manual adjustments described in the owners manual in section 1?

I have up and down on the bottom and back and forth on the back, but no lumbar circle control

Thanks Erica. I believe it was an option on the 2008 base model, but the original owner must not have picked it. I've tried adjusting the seat many ways. But I feel that there is just not enough indention in the seat to support me on turns. I think that's what is causing the pain, my body trying to keep me upright when I turn. I've ordered a pillow as mentioned before. (http://www.amazon.com/Back-Huggar-O...00NKDU8G/ref=pd_sim_hpc_5/190-3253796-9042822) and I'm hoping that may help. But I have a feeling I will end up having to stuff a seat cover with pillows or something to beef it up a bit.

I understand. Have you tried speaking with your GM dealership to see if there are any options you can look into. I think that would be a nice start towards a resolution if the pillow does not work out. Please be sure to keep us posted during this process.
