I put everything back together. The van fired right up (WAY YOU better than it ever has) and idled at a beautiful 6-700 rpms. It idled for 20 minutes and when it reached about 205 degrees it stalled. I can get it to start by giving it some gas and it runs great at 2k rpms but as soon as a let go of the throttle it immediately stalls. I'm letting it cool now to see if it will start again at cold. But it DOES run when warm just not below 2k.

Just so you know I changed the manifold, plenum, and valve cover gaskets. Every bolt went back in and every sensor hooked back up.

did this problem occur only after reconnecting the plug for the O2 sensor in your previous post? Is your check engine light on when the engine is running?

No. I did not run the engine until all the sensors were connected. No variable changed except for heat of the engine. No variable that I changed anyways. :P the van has sat for 2-3 weeks. Would bad gas work if I had it over 2k rpms throttle on start but not turn the engine over without giving it throttle?

How about starting from the beginning, feel like something is missing, why did you have to connect all the sensors, did you do an engine swap or something?

No I disconnected them to move the harness. I replaced the manifold gaskets and such. Rep lugged all the sensors and turned it over. It started up just fine and ran at 700 rpms very smoothly until it warmed up. Then it stalled. It stalled out elegantly, as well. Almost as if someone turned it off. But after that it wouldn't start unless I gave it gas while cranking it. It WILL start if I do this, but I have to keep it over 1.5k to 2k rpms. Otherwise it stalls.

Dammit. I keep posting, but it doesn't post. Anyways to sum this up, I had a manifold leak. I changed all the gaskets and reassembled. I did NOT run the van until AFTER all the sensors were connected. The first start after I reassembled it started right up after the fuel rail rebuilt pressure. No problems. Idled at 700 rpms after a little and no problems. Ran smooth. Very smooth. Better than ever before. After the van warmed up to just under half hot which is the norm on this van, it stalled. Since that stall it will not turn over unless I give it gas while cranking. I have to keep it over 2k rpms otherwise it stalls.

When it gets cold again it makes no difference. Still won't start :( I don't know if there are any codes my cheapo blue tooth code reader won't work on it. The service engine soon light is on though.

I think my MAP sensor may be clogged due to the way I "fixed" it. but I ran some seafoam through the gas tank. I started it and held the throttle at 2k and had my girlfriend dump some seafoam into the break booster vacuum line. After about 20 minutes I slowly let the idle down and it sat and idled at 700rpms. It's running great now guys!!!

TL;DR Seafoam fixed it.

LESSON: if you think something Is wrong, try seafoam before replacing costly sensors.

Just so everyone knows, the van quit running again. It seemed to work but the next day same problem again. I'm gonna change the fuel filter first, because it seems like a lack of fuel to me. If that works I'll report back. If that doesn't fix it I will try cleaning the MAP sensor. If that doesn't work I will start replacing sensors til it runs :P man I miss good ole carburated engines. All these Damn sensors and stuff :X

I know these things are a pia to trouble shoot , and if you take to the dealer look out $$$$$ . Definitely let us know what fixes it.

Alright guys. I put a new fuel filter in and it fired right up, idled high at 1100. It slowly cam back down to 800. Then it started dropping and revving between 700 and 1100 rpms. I think it might be the fuel pump but I don't know why it fired right up with a new fuel filter... no clue.

take a can of carburetor cleaner and spray where the intake meets the head, you are trying to find a possible vacuum leak.

Alright guys I'm getting absolutely no start now after that new fuel filter and a battery death. Also, no the box is making a click when I turn the key on to prime fuel. I believe it to be the cruise control module.

what exactly is the reading, too low, no start

Idk I don't have a pressure guage lol. But when I purge it, there is a VERY short spurt of gas and a dribble to follow, then empty. Seems like there should be a LOT more gas in the rail.

Alright guys,I got some updates. I disconnected the 1st spark plug and it fired right up. Plugged it back on and it wouldn't crank. Disconnected it again and it fired right up. I took out the plug and put in an old one and it fired right up and idled for about 10 minutes and stalled. This is the 4th time I've thought I fixed it, and it stalls and won't start again. Any ideas?
