New to the forum due to looking at purchasing a 1996 Sunfire. I have many questions with the vehicle though.
First off it is a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire Convertible 2.2L automatic. The vehicle has 72,000 miles and the guy is asking $4,000 but would take $3,800.
The guy stated he had replaced the back passenger brake drum and now the ETS light is on and stays on. Is this a problem or what are the consequences and price to fix?
Second the blower for A/C and Heat only blows on max. What could cause this and cost to fix?
Third, valve cover gasket leaks. Not too worried about this one since I am pretty sure I can fix it.
Fourth, Small hole the size of my finger that goes all the way through the vinyl top. How expensive would this be to repair?
Fifth, The guy says he just washed it and there are a few damp spots on the seats. Could the top be leaking or is it just the pressure from the power washer?
Sorry for the long post on my first one, just want to be sure I am getting a descent car for the price. What are your thoughts????
