• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hi guys,
I have a 1970 gto. The car has a 1969 400 engine with 1977 6x-8 heads.
Does this mean I can run 87 unleaded gas .

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I think I should leave the answer to this question to more experienced people. Somebody will surely respond shortly...

the original 69 heads measured about 72cc, the 6x-8 from 77 is about 100cc, so as long as you dont hear any ignition ping the 87 octane should be fine.
