• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... i am new to your forums and am an old school mech. I was given a 2004 Montana that has electrical issues i am thinking a battery because the old one was in there for a few years and the only way i can get any life out of the dash is to jump start it. then it will light up but no crank and as soon as i take the jumpers off it all dies so i am looking at a good used battery. but before i work on it the previous owner has to go through bankruptcy and get a title so i cannot sink any money into it yet that and the bees are everywhere, I've only got stung twice so I'm good for now. it is a nice van with all the options, a 3400 engine auto tranny, cruise, a/c, power seats and windows, if i get to keep the car it will be one of the nicest cars i have. the only other problem it has is the tranny clunks sometimes after it warms up, that has me concerned.

welcome to the forum and good luck. Becareful about the title and make sure it is clean, no money owed.
