new to me 89 firebird 2.8

hey guys I just bought a 89 firebird 2.8 and there's gas in the oil does anyone have any ideas

Change the oil before running it anymore if it will even crank. I would say you have an injector problem, or something causing it to run so rich that gas is blowing by the piston rings.

k thanks ya it runs I just replaced all the vacum lines and thought maybe that was it I'm changing the oil tomarrow and see if thay helpd cause they were leeking bad
