New to Gtp and the board. Just purchased an 01 Gtp Se with 82k in excellent shape. Former Mustang Guy (1989 Supercharged Gt) but now decided to do one of these up.
Do Have one problem. The security light is flashing, rather running or not. No running or starting problems. However, there is not a transpoder key nor did the key fobs come with it (car lot purchase). I cannot even figure out why it is running without the transponder key unless there is some type of override for the Pass Key III installed. I am planning to take it to the dealer and have them make me a couple keys, and I already ordered a couple of key fobs off of ebay.
Any other ideas to it?
Outside of that, I love the car. It runs, drives, and looks great............however, I could definately use some more HP. Planning to very soon install a:
SLP Performance Parts 1.80:1 Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms/Pushrod Package
PRJ Performance Ignition Wires
SLP “Loudmouth” Exhaust System
Digital Horsepower Inc. v1.0 PCM.
3.4”, pulley
MSP Cold Air Induction System
Goodyear Gatorback Supercharger Belt
160-degree Performance Parts Thermostat
And do more next year.
