I think my username says it all.
My name is Falyssa, but I also go by Taimi. I bought my 2004 Grand Prix GTP around 11:45 AM CDT today after receiving an insurance payout for my totalled 01 Mustang.
When I was backed into, I knew that my time as the 5th owner for my Mustang was drawing to a close. I was already having issues with it, and started poking around Craigslist in my local area, then decided to expand the search about 2 weeks ago and stumbled across an ad in Oklahoma City for a black 2004 Grand Prix GTP with 115k for $2500. A week later, I got the news from the insurance company I had been waiting almost 2 months for: my Mustang was considered a total loss due to $2500 in cosmetic damage. A week to the day my Mustang was put on a flatbed and hauled to OKC, I bought my GTP for $2300.
Right now, I can say I do NOT miss the Mustang after all the headaches I had with her... transmission was slipping. Fuel economy was TERRIBLE. My temp gauge was messed up, along with my speedo. I had holes in my floorboard under the drivers seat. My brake booster was starting to act fussy. I think being backed into was a blessing.
