no cooling fan at all! tested good

98 sunfire 2.2 just swaped in a used motor. I have no cooling fan at all. Not when you unplug the temp sensor or turn ac on. I have replaced temp sensor,thermstat, and antifreeze. Everything seems to be ok except for cooling fan. I have tested fan lead wires when the fan should be hot but nothing at all. I Bench tested the relay and it checks out ok. I checked for power at the relay when the fan should be on and there is nothing. Am I missing something? I am not to sure what is going on with this Any Help would be greatly appricated!

is the car a 98, if not did you install the 98 ecm?

i used the 98 wiring harness. i used the engine harness that was originally in car.

just bought car due to bad motor, over heating. so i dont know if it workes before install

Check the resistance of the wire themselfs starting at the fusebox to the connections to the fan..it should read 0 ohms if not and u get a number u need to replace the wires and pins..

crazy, i think that might be my problem, how did you fix the ground? unhook the battery and the ground and sand it?
