Not getting any fuel to fuel rail. New pump 2 months ago, new filter and relay today. I put 12 volts to the FP test link and no pump. Power to FP relay. Any suggestions?

if you are saying your pump doesnt run when you directly apply power to the pump the pump has failed and it doesnt matter that it is only 2 months old.

I was thinking it was pump failure too. Its an autozone fuel pump.

Fuel pump doesn't run all the time, only way to check is with a pressure gauge that connects to between the tank and the filter on Jbodies . You should also hear the fuel rail primer when the key is turned on. ( separate solenoid ) Turbo MPFI only - not TBI !

91's are famous for fuel pump corroded wires from the fuse block back to the pump. Should be a grey wire that runs with other wires along the drivers side carpet and seat. ( no need to pull the sill plate.)

This is my daughters car. The gas gauge said it had a half tank. I dropped the tank and it was bone dry. So I guess my issue is the gas gauge. I am going to warrentee the pump since the tank is out. The FP may have run hot running with no gas in it. Thank you for your help.

Glad to hear you should have it resolved. Always hard to T/S one issue when you don't know about another problem!

I put a new sending unit in the tank. put a new pump in too. Put gas in it and it fired right up. And the gas gauge works now too.

excellent, the dry tank probably killed the pump
