my car died when i pressed in the clutch it restarted but it ran poorly. and now wont start. replaced the coil pack, icm, and the crank sensor and still wont start. please help
Sounds like you have the spark covered, pull a front plug wire stick a screw driver in it and hold the screwdriver next to a ground and make sure there is now spark.(Keep your fingers way up the screwdriver handle)(unless you like high voltage) If you have spark, then turn the ignition key on and stick a nail or screw into the schrader valve on the fuel rail and see if you have gas pressure.
Dont know much about th 2.2L, had alot of Pontiacs but most with 3800's. You have sure all but replaced the ignition system. Does the L61 have a cam sensor as well?
got a good spark but compression is still way off. im wondering if it could be the rings, but the car onlt has 78K miles on it. or it could it be the head gasket even though the ater and oil and water didnt mix??
