no start

hi the other day i was going to the gas station my fuel light had been on for a while so the tank was pretty empty, so i put $10 in then went to start it and it would only crank wouldnt start. so i started pushing it out of the way and i tried to bump start it and it started and ran fine, went home turned it off and tried again same thing. so i tried a bit of quick start and that got it to start. it runs but idles kinda rough and almost stalls after you rev it . im wondering what would cause this. people told me probably the fuel filter because it probably sucked the shit out of the bottom of the tank and clogged it. maybe but what could it be?

did that. apparently my ignition switch was going and only had about 3v going thru it. the switch has a wire that also goes to the fuel pump. so with only 3v instead of 12v going thru it it isnt enough to power the fuel pump, therfore not gettin enough gas to start.

I remember there was a recall notice for Sunfires regarding the ignition wiring. You should bring the car in to the dealer to see if it has been done (there is no cost for this)
