Hi all! New to this forum, but have followed some threads in the past.
I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana. I have an issue with the Check Engine Light. I reset it, only to have it come back on within a few days. The code P0135 is coming up, which relates to the heater circuit for the O2 sensor. Bank1 - sensor1. So its pre-cat. I need to know what the resistance of the heater circuit should be. I checked across the 2 wires for the heater circuit, and Im getting around 5.7 ohms. Is this an appropriate figure for a good sensor? I called my dealership today, but got the runaround, and never got an answer. I want to determine the sensor is bad, before installing a new one. Heard too many stories of people just changing out the O2's and still getting the codes back, because there was nothing wrong with the sensors. Instead, there are issues with bad wiring.
Anyways, hopefully some or one of you knowledgable people could help me out!
PS Van has been running excellent other than this Check Engine Light.
Thanks again!

O2 sensor HTR resistance

Did you get an Answer to this? I'm about to trouble shoot mine and will need to know the S/B resistance.
Thanks
