My 96 firebird is reading mass or volume air flow input low. I put a new maf sensor on it and cleared the code and after about 10 minutes it coded out the same thing. What is actually happening for it to code that. I'm very confused here and any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone here you guys/gals rock

try another sensor, some time the the throttle posting sensor can be starten to go bad. the computer sees the throttle postion as this but it really isn't, but computer thinks it is so air flow is not what it should be at that throttle postition indicated. sends the code for airflow because it really doesn't know what the throttle position is,just know what it is sensing. i could be wrong , i'm just saying...good luck.

Should I try getting a new throttle position sensor then. I think I understand what your saying. Please correct me if i'm wrong. I will try this if i'm understanding you right. Thanks so much

yes, it shouldn't cost much. if one goes bad the others will follow.
