Oil For 1979 Trans Am

I have a 1979 Trans Am with 403 engine and was wondering what would be the best oil for it. I was looking at the 10W-30 NAPA conventional but notice it mentions “does not fit” the 1979 Trans Am…https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NOL75135

You have an engine with a flat tappet camshaft. They require high levels of zinc and phosphorus which have been lowered in most oils for emissions purposes. Look for Valvoline VR1 10W30 conventional or a similar oil intended for cars from the 60's and 70's.

Another option is add Rislone ZDDP to your oil if you use modern oil blends.
