thanks in advance.i have a 1999 2.4 grand am with about 150 onit.i have had it about 2 years.bought for my daughter she drives it I fix it.good running car.never overheated.i check the fluids whenever she comes home from school.inside of 2 weeks after I changed the oil and filter I was checking coolant level and found she has a trace of oil in coolant reservoir.no coolant in oil.ive owned 3.8 gms and had one fill the cylinders with coolant and did the intake manifold gasket and drove it some more.i think I caught this in the very early stages of a serious problem.when I research the 2.4s,all anybody talks about is head gaskets.whats the chances that its a intake gasket.im sure this is a common problem for these cars from what ive read,i just don't want to go all the way to the head gasket if I don't have to.btw car is still running great no skip no white smoke,nothing.
