• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... While I posted my Baby in the Firebird section I figured I'd introduce myself.
At present I have 2 1968 Firebirds. Always had a thing for the first generation birds.
I've had quite a list of performance Pontiacs.
2-68 Birds
67 Bird
69 Bird
66 GTO
67 GTO
82 T/A
88 Fiero Formula
95 GP GTP

Been away from Pontiac for awhile. The Solstice will be the next one. Hated the corporate engine program.
My other 68 Bird is a Convertible with the OHC 6 engine.

Also trying to find a Pontiac Club in the Upstate S.C. area. ???

I agree, I am not a corp engine type. I like good old Pontiac, Cad, Buick and Olds engines. Chevies are just too mundane. Everyone has one. (I am stuck with 2 350's now, 94 Fleetwood LT1 and 96 Suburban Vortec 350) They are still the torqueless wonder. It is a wonder why anyone would want one with the lack of torque they have! Once you drive a 455 you won't want to go back to anything lesser!

I still am trying to figure out how to drop my 455 Pontiac into my Cad with modern EFI! That would be a sweet car. 454's are dissappointing, they do ok, but still, not what they should in comparisson to an Olds or Pontiac 455. I don't know the Buick 455 that well, but mild ones in 3300 lb cars run 11's is ok in my book....

The birds of prey you have look sharp, glad to have you on board! I don't know the 1st gen F bodies well, I know the 2nd gen pretty well, I have had mine for 19 years now. My avatar is a near twin to mine, but mine is a turbo with a 400 in it now. Wish I had the turbo on the 400!! The 455 and 301 sit in the basement waiting for thier turn again.
