It took my uncle and I less than thirty minutes to replace the fuel pump on his 1996 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LE. I don't see there being much more of a length difference unless you don't know what your doing. In that case, look online, ask a friend, or throw up another post. Pretty much you just take the gas tank out (make sure it isn't full), and dissemble a bunch of parts until you get to the part that looks like the one you just bought to replace the bad one. Then, put it all together. Like I said, you should probably know what you are doing, or have someone with you who does. Best of luck.
