If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello all,

I am new to this forum. I just recently purchased my 2nd Pontiac. I have a 2004 Grand Prix GTP and my latest purchase is a 1999 Bonneville SE.

I am also a car audio enthusiast and my Bonneville is bone stock as far as the sound system and I am trying to figure out what size the front door speakers and rear deck speakers are. So far I have checked Sonicelectronix which said the the front doors are 4x6 and the deck is 6x9, Cruchfield, which yielded results that my fronts are 5-1/4 and the deck is either 5-1/4 or 6-1/2, and Fit Guide called my fronts 4 and the rear deck 6x9. Does anybody have any idea what the actual sizes are? I'm pretty sure that the rears are 6x9 but not quite sure on the fronts.

And could someone also verify for me that the head unit is a 1-1/2 din? It appears to be a double din but Sonicelectronix says otherwise...

Thanks in advance!

I typically use Crutchfield to determine the sizes and for your car they ask about three different options your car may have. So without knowing what you currently have I can not offer any further details.
I thought a DIN was 2" in height so 1 1/2 DIN would be 3".
