It all Hollywood Mel, ( all for show ) hopefully it wasnt the original ...which is worth something.

Original parts are worth big bucks, you see them rip out stuff and throw it in a big pile for scrap more likely.

The only shows I've seen on TV ( car related ) that saved every nut and bolt was "Graveyard Carz". ( and Fast n Loud twice ,when they did the Ferrari F40 and the first 2 67 Firebirds made)
