Hey guys, i'm new here. I have a 97 grand am gt 3.1l v6. Keeps overheating, alot. Every 10 minutes it seems, shoots right into the red and light comes on. No white smoke out of exauhst so I know its not a head gasket. I've changed the thermostat and radiator cap. It has no visual leak. I keep hearing it could be the LIM gasket which i'm really starting to lean towards. The oil is fine, its not milky or anything.

Any information will help. Thank you!

are your radiator fans working?

Yes, everything on the cooling system seems to be working properly. I think I may have a leak somewhere because i'm losing water pretty fast. When i race the engine(accelerate rapidly) in park or driving it starts to cool down to normal temp. So maybe I have something clogging my lines somewhere or something?? But it also uses coolant/water.

But I refill the coolant resivoure about twice a day. So I must have something clogging it, and I probably have a leak somewhere. I'm not sure.

Thanks
