P0742 torque converter

My car is running FINE yet this shows. Is there a way to ERASE this code? What should I do at this point? I have 165,000 miles...and I took care of this car...

have you checked the transmission fluid level?
how many miles since you changed the transmission filter and fluid?
you gas mileage will be decreased.
