The stock exaust has seen better days and i'm looking to replace it. I'm also thinking about doing some preformance mods and headers seem like a nice place to start. Should i go with the two items linked below, or should i look into another company? if you own a pacesetter exaust system, how do you feel about your purchase? Looking for some feedback, feel free to throw in your 2 cents! ~ 802

Have no personnal experience with them but they are a known brand name and headers and the low restriction mufflers are an excellant way to boost performance.

Pacesetter is a brand name and if you're going to be replacing the exhaust why not upgrade. I think that is an excellent idea. New, less restrictive headers are nice. Pacesetter isn't bad but it's not the best. I have heard people complaining that the paint flakes off within a few miles (could be complete BS I can't verify that story). But you can always powder coat it yourself or paint it. Check welds make sure they look good too if you get it. If you don't have a welder get some car batteries (<---Joke lol if you want you could). But if the welds don't look the best just go to an exhaust shop have them fix it and install if not too much (exhaust is a lot easier off the ground)

Let us know how it goes if you do get these. I may be interested at some point since I have 2 3400 cars (2000 Grand AM & 2005 Impala)

Tangent: Saw the valve train got resolved, that's great!

Edit: I would also have it welded at the Y where the 135 header meets 246.
