I dont think you will find any actual statistics, unless Canada was better at record keeping, but a gut feeling is, it is not common.
 
The Big Blocks are Very rare, Canada did Keep better records so it is possible to find out. Most Canadian Pontiacs of the mid 60's would be 283 Power glide cars. A big block with a 3-speed manual, column shift at that would not be very common at all.
