Hello I have a 2002 pontiac grand am that is having a fuse problem. The fuse box under the hood in the front left of the vehicle <near the shock> has a 15a fuse in slot 45 that says "parking lamps". The fuse has blown 3 times in the last 2 weeks leaving the dashboard cluster dark and the taillights inoperable when that happens. Brake lights will still work but all this makes driving at night impossible to do safely. This car does have the turn signal issue where they wont work sometimes, the lady at the dealer said to "smack" the dash right above the hazard light switch which we have to do about half the time. The hazard light work intermittently, I suspect a faulty or "loose" hazard lamp switch. My question is what is causing the 15a fuse in slot 45 to blow and how can I fix it?? Is this related to the above mentioned issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and have a great day!

You need a chasis wiring diagram, you can try autozone web site or a hanes or chilton manual. You have to find a wire that is shorting to ground in the harness.
