Part Question

I have a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire SE 2.4L and there is a part that I wanted to buy, it's located in the engine compartment near the alternator and it's part of the EVAP system. I thought it was the purge solenoid so I ordered one off of eBay, it just came in today's mail. I took it down to the car and opened the hood and it doesn't look the same. The part that I ordered looks like the part on top of the charcoal canister. The part that I want looks like this....

And the part that I bought looks like this...

Anyone know what the part in the first picture is called?

Found my answer. Apparently the one I bought was a vapor canister purge solenoid, and the one I need is called a canister purge valve solenoid. Guess I'll just be buying it from an auto parts store so I can make sure it looks right before I buy it.
