Pass. Side rattling & annoying turn signal tick

I have an '02 GA SE and there is this rattling sound coming from the glove compartment area. Realistically, I think it is coming from somewhere near the right front tire and doesn't happen all the time, usually over moderately to small sized bumps. I've taken things out of the map pocket as well as the glove compartment, but the rattling continues. Any ideas?

Also, the "ticking" noise the turn signal makes doesn't stop when you stop using the turn signal. The signals themselves are off, as well as the hazard lights, but the noise intermittently comes and goes at varying rates of "tickyness." I figure this is a warranty part, maybe the signal arm unit, but if it isn't, anyone have any quick fixes so I can save some cash?

Thanks.

Side note: i've lost 3 exterior lights (headlight, front sidemarker, brake light) in the past month. No collisions or anything. Maybe the bulbs all decided to quit on the same day.

Recall?

I have a 2000 Grand Am and have the same problem with the ticking noise. I heard about a recall on some of the 2000's concerning the turn indicator switch, however, mine was not included in the recall. (Go figure!)Maybe yours is? I think I am going to have the switch replaced myself. I would like to do it myself, but neither my husband or I am very mechanically inclined.

Grand AM - pass. side rattling

Is there anyone or a dealer that has found an explanation or fix for this problem? Please reply!

I have a 2003 GA GT and had the same ticking sound from my turn signals. The turn signals are in fact off but the ticking continued. I took it to the dealer and had the turn signal switch replaced.
