Bought a new ignition lock cylinder to change out the old one because the it started taking up to five minute trying to get the key to turn. The instruction said you need a scanner to relearn for the anti theft. After googling I found ways to do it without a scanner and wonder if it would really work???

havent seen that one before, try it, it wont damage anything.
