I couldn't find anything in the other threads so...

I got my block back from the machinist. It's a 400 bored out to fit the 4.185 Mahle Pistons in a Butler Performance Stroker kit.

I had just planned on gapping the top rings (for example) at .0045" times Bore which is the Mahle "High Performance Street" recommendation. My mechanic son is riding me about eventually putting NOS on the engine and I'm considering it.

So, my question is, if I gap to the .0060 times Bore for the nitrous shot, which would be very infrequently, not daily or even weekly probably, and not for a while, Anyway...

How much horsepower should I expect to lose with non-NOS driving blow by and is there going to be a problem with it starting to suck oil in a few thousand miles?

Thanks,
Mark

i would stick with the Mahle recommendation for High Performance Street
