planning to buy a trans-am

hello, i currently own a highly modded ford explorer and i'm tired of driving a lifted suv. i want to get a trans-am. i am looking for a 6spd, v8, around the body style of a 1995. I am looking to spend about $5k. mileage isn't a big deal as long as it's no more than 200k, but from what i've seen about 100k is what i should expect for this price. is there any peticular model that would be better than others? i've heard of a ws-6 package, but i don't know what that is. also, is there more than one v8 offered in that body style? if so, which one would be best to get?

WS6 is a performance suspension package - and maybe Ram Air - depending on the year.. I believe there's only one v8 option - 5.7 350.. 1995 would be an LT1.. 1997 brings the LS1 - faster.. But more expensive...
