Hi, I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Am SE, this past sunday the car started to overheat, the a/c is not working anymore (I turn it on and the air is coming out but the compresor is not working so the air is really hot) the autolamp is not working either, also the automatic door locks when I run the car are not working, all this happen at once and I believe is some kind of circuit, any clue on what could have happened or what's the solution for this?

Thank you!

If the car is too warm, the AC is diabled by the ECM.

Look for fuses, there is the Maxi fuses under the hood, pull each and look at them carefully. Sounds like something blew and the fans are not turning on. I don't know if fusible links were replaced by the Maxi fuses, but I suspect so. Look for loose wiring to the MaxiFuse center from the battery.

BEFORE you start spinning wrenches there, disconnect the battery!
