So my 85 hasnt beeen garaged the last couple of weeks and it been raining a lot. I found out everytime it rains hard, rain falls down in betweenmy decklid and my window and fowling my spark plugs out completly. I was talking to a dude at a local shop and he said he thinks he remembersa recall on that. He said they put a fabricated piece of sheet metel under the deck lid..... Does anyone know where i could get something to prevent or could someone show me a design of something and ill make something? thanks for the help!

The recall removes the rubber weather strip from the decklid and changes the heat shield. But all this does is keep cold rain water from dripping on the hot exhaust manifold.
If rain is causing the spark plugs to foul, It means your spark plug wires are old or low quality. Install quality spark plug wires.

I have replaced my wires recently. When I pull my spark plugs when it rains they come out covered in water and rusty
