I am restoring all my trim and window molding, I been shopping around for polishing but I do not want it show quality. On my chrome molding for my '72 Lemans there is excess paint left over on it from the previous owner. I just wanted to know a cheap or inexpensive way to polish the chrome without paying $15.00 a foot for restoration? My Rocker panel trim is aluminum, I think I'm gonna have to take those two pieces in regardless, but I was just trying to save money for the chrome and to get the paint off it. Maybe paint remover?? I don't know if that is good for chrome or not? Thanks

a mild paint remover would be a good choice, normally paint doesnt adhere very well to chrome

I found a local polisher, and he gave me a great deal! I will post pics once all the trim is on the body! Again, Thanks!
