We have been work on this sunfire fir for at least 2 weeks and half now. But now we have a problem with the back wheel brake shoes, we drained the fluid out and press on the breaks there was relief on the brakes but after a few moments it tightens up we been try to adjust it but we been looking for the adjustment slot where is it normally located.

Hi, I don't know if the Pontiac 1996 Sunfire had a Drum or a Disk for break.
Anywhere, if has a disk, that means your pad didn't comeback and you must take off your chamber brake, unmount the piston and clean the edge of the piston, look for the gasket if it's not damaged too.
If your car has a drum, you must find the adjustment slot on the back of the Flask. It's a part where the break shoes mounted on. The only location, the adjustment must be found. If didn't work. look inside the drum something, block the return of the break shoes.
I hope that answer help you, if you need more help e-mail me.
God bless you.
