...Sacramento? Hey everyone,
If you are living in the area or have general experience about maintenance places, help me out. I live in the sacramento area across American river college.

My last maintenance was done at 95K miles, and it cost me about $500. Now my car is at 124K and i am wondering where the heck to go. I noticed that Sears auto center has some maintenance packages for decent prices. Any thoughts on that? The platinum (most expensive) package is at $300.

Or should i go to Meineke, the inspect for free, but packages start at $400.

Any ideas, any help sites about this, or review site or recommendations? please, help. Thank You,

I personally have not had good luck with sears or any highly advertised chain like Meineke. The best luck I have had is going with an independent shop that is AAA rated. Call around for competitive quotes for what you need done.

Sounds like you enjoy spending or throwing your money away. Find you a basic service .99>99 percent of cars on the road today have had no more than basic 12 point inspections and oil trans service. Flush radiator every year and change trans fluid once every 25000 you will get 175000 mile out of your car with less money spent. My question to these service's are they so good an smart they will be able to tell you when you will need a new fuel pump or when you will have your next flat. I don`t think so .Be smart don`t throw your money away .After you add up all these service's you could either pay for the repair or almost buy another car over the life of what you have spent for service's not needed

Hes right, THROWING money away, your best bet is going to a local AAA rated garage... Youll only need a fluid flish, oil change and new plugs, with i suggest a new alternator belt. Shouldnt be over 200.00 and thats PUSHING it...
