Pontiac 69 firebird with 74 firebird front chassey?

Is it possible to fit a 74 Front Chassey to a 69 front area? i measured it out and the 74 is 10inces longer but wouldn't that just be more support?
 
Guess if you have lots of money and talent you could but practically speaking no.
