I have an 86 Pontiac Fiero 2M4 and the engine is nearing the end of its days. I know the most common engine swap for Fieros is the 3800 series II engine but I would like to keep a 4 cylinder in the car due to the price of gas. Now what i would like to know is what would be the best 4 cylinder engine I could put in that has power and fuel economy? any suggestions will be helpful
