ok here is the deal
i am not sure about the engine. currently i have not had any daylight to get a good look at the car since i am working 6am to 9pm for a few days. but i got a car from a friend that was sitting at an exes house.
it is a 87 Pontiac firebird
she told me it is a 4 cylinder. it has the 2.8 head on it as far as i could tell with my flashlight. and she told me that the top and bottom of the engine was not the same, the bottom being a 3.2.
does any of this make and sense to you. please give me any info you may have on the subject and if there any thing i should look for/at.
thank you.
she said it was a 4 cylinder NOT that it is running on 4. just FYI. thank you.
actually they stopped the 4cylender in 85 and replaced it with the 2.8. the 2.5 would have to have been a engine swap for your brother to have had it.
i KNOW the head is a 2.8 v6.
