again? i went to and from work not nothing that the alternator belt broke and it drained the battery so i bought a new one and I put a new belt on, but the car makes a loud sreeeek noise and wont stay on. I noticed that one of the rotators werent spinning( the one right below the alternator). when I take the belt off the car starts up fine. is the belt to tight?

You will need to replace the one that is not turning because it is frozen up, hopefully it is only the belt tension pulley, It will depend as to which pulley it is that is frozen because it may be the AC or Power Steering pump if it is the AC you can buy a belt for an engine without AC and you will be on your way again.
