pontiac firebird?

have a 1989 pontiac firebird and i wont to tack out the engine that is in it now and put a 350 Chevrolet engine in it what all wood i have to replace i wood get it from the junk yard now what wood i need to get from a Chevrolet truck

Generally a truck engine is not going to be a direct fit the heads are possibly not going to have the extra holes that a camaro / firebird engine have for the exhaust manifolds..
and the dipstick may not be in the correct place which will prevent using the stock manifolds also ..
there are some engines that will be a better fit but you would have to find a salvage yard to tell you what is a direct fit for your car ...
